I came in with sinus infections in late November 2000. I had suffered with sinus infections for many years. Medical doctors gave me all kinds of medications
that caused a lot of side effects. Dr. Mike has treated me for about six months, and the regular
adjustments have helped me not only with my sinuses, but
also with my intestinal problems. I am 75 years old and I feel like a younger person. Thank

Initially, I started with chiropractic care many years ago to alleviate
intensity and decrease occurrences of very severe migraine headaches.
Now I am coming here to eliminate the possibility of compression
of the sciatic nerve and overall spinal health.
My impression of the office is that it is excellent. The “New School” training and
attitude shows overall concern for health including sports injuries and
its tendencies. My overall results have been superb.

I started chiropractic
care with Dr. Lacerda in September of 2000 due to chronic headaches.
Over the last 20 years I have gone to chiropractors off and on
as my symptoms have reoccurred. Since I began a regular program
with Dr. Lacerda, my headaches have disappeared and my overall
wellness has improved. I have a lot more energy and sleep much
better than before. Dr. Lacerda’s office is great. The staff and Dr. Lacerda have provided
an excellent environment for their patients. I have learned a lot

I was in a serious car accident November 7, 1998. I went
through extensive treatment with physical therapists and I wasn’t
improving that much. My injuries were my back; all down my
spine from my mid to upper back and neck. I have been coming
to Dr. Lacerda since the end of September 2000. Since then,
I have really noticed a big difference. My injuries have
really improved in an unbelievable time. I spent 2 ˝ years
in physical therapy without much of a change and after six months
seeing Dr. Lacerda I feel better inside and out. I don’t
get sick that often either. I only have moderate pain about
twice a week instead of severe pain several times a week. I
really feel great and my injuries are minor now.

Before coming in to see Dr. Lacerda, I have had a series of migraines, chest pains,
backaches and many other off the wall bizarre symptoms which my regular
doctors were not able to figure out any cause or reason. After
at least two years of going back and forth to Kaiser with no results. I
decided to seek alternate forms of treatment. That is when
I was referred to Dr. Lacerda. I must say that I had a fear
of chiropractors and it took me some time before I actually made
the choice to seek his help. A decision I wish I had made years
ago!
At Dr. Lacerda’s office, everyone is polite, courteous, personable and
professional. Not only is his secretary, Virginia, pleasant to see,
his patients are also very friendly and they all make you feel welcome. No
one is a stranger – everyone is acquainted. It is a nice warm atmosphere. Thanks
to Dr. Lacerda, I can sustain a healthier life and attitude. I have
actually seen fast results. Although I know that there is still work
to be done, I am and will always be grateful for his services. I
have seen x-rays of when I started and about four to five months after
and what an amazing experience. To see the results right in front
of you, not only feeling the change, but also witnessing it. I have
had a huge stress relief since coming to Dr. Lacerda. I can actually
say, well I have had a bit of a headache and right away he can fix the
problem, I don’t have to actually tell him, he can observe and figure it
out on his own. Sometimes, he can see things that I do not actually
feel. The relief is amazing. I also bring my daughter to see
Dr. Lacerda. She has had cases of sinus trouble, headaches and unknown
infections. She has only seen Dr. Lacerda for a short time, but her
results were instantaneous. Weather changes no longer affect her;
she has no more complaints of headaches or sinus pain. I could not
be happier with his personal care. He really does care...not only
for me, but for all of his patients.

History of my condition: Approximately three months ago, I
was suffering from severe lower back problems. It was
so bad that I could hardly stand up straight and I had a
very difficult time finding a comfortable position to sleep
in. One day I walked into the Safari Salon for a haircut
and as I was waiting for my turn I noticed Dr. Lacerda’s
sign next door and I boldly asked, “Does anyone know anything
about the practice next door?” I have been in constant
pain for a while and I wonder if they could help. Well,
Lord and Behold, a tiny little voice answered (like an angel), “I
do. He’s my husband, and he is great!” I explained
my condition to his wife and she sold me on the idea of going
to talk to Dr. Lacerda. After talking to Dr. Lacerda,
who so patiently educated me on the spinal cord and the importance
of it’s maintenance, I decided it was worth taking a chance
to relieve some of the discomfort I was experiencing. I
had never in my life been to a chiropractor; in fact I always
heard that they were “quacks." Since I have been going
to Dr. Lacerda, my condition has improved tremendously, I
still has a ways to go, but I can honestly say that I sleep
comfortably, I don’t walk in constant pain like I used to,
so if Dr. Lacerda is a “quack”, I’m a duckling, because thanks
to him I feel so much better.
Dr. Lacerda’s office is very neat and organized. He and his assistant
Virginia, always make me feel important and at home. I love it
when his family is there visiting, they are always friendly, happy and
lovable.

I came to Dr. Lacerda because of chronic sciatica,
persistent low back and leg pain. At times the pain was so
extreme that I was unable to sleep and had trouble doing some basic
tasks (i.e. driving, sitting at an office chair). Like most
patients, I have tried to solve this problem by attending physical
therapy, by going to my general practitioner and by taking numerous
medications. Nothing seemed to be working and I was very
frustrated.
Dr. Lacerda’s office exudes an atmosphere of professionalism. All
aspects of my chiropractic health have been explained to me; from
the need of x-rays, to the expectations that I should expect of
treatment. Most important, I always leave the office with
the feeling that the entire staff cares. At six months into treatment
I am amazed at the results; I am sleeping better and the pain has
all but disappeared. I understand now more than ever the
importance of continued treatment and maintenance.
